OWNPAGE
Type: $blogExpOpt
Scope: self (sub-posts only)
Purpose: Forces note to export as its own webpage
Relevant only for sub-posts.
When the parent of a note uses the COMPILE export option, that note is not exported as its own webpage. For force it to so export, add OWNPAGE to its $blogExpOpt
. An agent will use this to set the note’s $blogReady
to true.
Notes with $blogExpOpt
OWNPAGE have their date information suppressed.
Forcing own-page export can be useful when you want a note to appear in a compilation and separately. A glossary, for example, might benefit from exporting all entries in a single compilation—as a set of blocks, say—but also individually for isolated look-ups via external links.
OWNPAGE sub-posts are known by their background color in Outline View. For a different color, change the value of the custom color _ownpage.
