Student of Joseph Rampal, the father of Jean-Pierre Rampal at the conservatory in Marseille

1955: Winner of the Concours du Royaume de la Musique. Studies with Jean-Pierre Rampal

1961: Wins the first Grand Prix of Geneve. Becomes solo flutist of several Parisian orchestras in sequence: Orchestre de Chambre de l´ORTF, Orchestre de Paris, Ensemble Intercontemporain und Orchestre National de Radio France.

1977: Professorship for flute at the Paris conservatory.

1985: Head of the summer academy in Nice.
