Load
STEP 1. First, we will LOAD a theme into an an editing window. Open the Theme Manager widget in its own Text Window (using ⌥⌘X) since we will need to refresh it by closing-and-reopening it. (This is easier to refresh with a Text Window: you just hit ⌘W and then ⌥⌘X.)

STEP 2. In the $LoadOrSave
key attribute, choose LOAD from the pop-up list:

STEP 3. Then select the Theme Button you want to load in the $LoadRuleFrom
key attribute (use the pop-up list):

STEP 4. Now uncheck $RuleDisabled
:

$RuleDisabled
checkbox, thereby unchecking it and running the note’s rule.STEP 5. When you load $Text
into a note behind-the-scenes, you have to close and reopen it to refresh its contents. Just hit ⌘W and then ⌥⌘X.

Behold! A theme is actually a collection of assignments carried out by a rule, and the last assignment is to turn the rule-running of the Theme Button off.
