BoxPress “prototype schemes”
BoxPress uses prototypes to align both the displayed (in Tinderbox) and exported (in your website) appearance of notes with their kind.
Each content prototype has a different Display Scheme—the way in which its instances appear onscreen (in Tinderbox) in Outline View and Map View.
Each content prototype also has a slightly different Export Scheme—its own way of exporting as a Webpage, Subsection, SmartPanel, SmartButton, and Listing (the way its title appears in a Table of Contents and in the special Categories and Archives pages).
BoxPress marshals nine different content prototypes.
The default prototype of new PAGES and POSTS is normal_note. This is your generic content prototype. The other (eight) content prototypes inherit from normal_note. This two-tier inheritance allows you to make both universal per-prototype changes. For a universal change, change normal_note. To change all and only person-notes, change person_note.
